DIVINE COMEDY Presentation at St. Peter's In Rome…as in Rome, NY in March 2014

The cartoon on screen was whited out by the camera flash.  The painting in front of me i one I did of Mother Teresa.
Here I am doing my commentary on the importance of humor and joy in enriching one's faith life.

Some of the dozens of greeting card designs I brought with me.

Mary says,  (to a young, floating Jesus who is parting the water that He has just turned into wine while multiplying the loaves and the fish and separating the light from the darkness…) "My Lord, you are JUST like your Father."

Lent humor

I gave up sweets for Lent and this inspired this cartoon...

Tuesday, March 4, 2014

I wish you all a blessed Ash Wednesday.  May your Lenten experience remind you that "You are dust and to dust you shall return."

Below are a couple pics from a Syracuse Diocesan event called "God Rocks" at St. Joe's in Camillus, NY.  Fr. Joe O'Connor, Director of Office of Vocation Promotion for the diocese, gave an inspirational talk while I painted a 32" x 40" painting in 10 minutes.

This picture is from a DIVINE COMEDY presentation done at Divine Mercy Parish in Central Square, NY  in February 2014.

Launching DIVINE COMEDY Blog!

This blog will be used to update and inform the faithful about the latest news regarding my humor ministry presentation of DIVINE COMEDY.  I welcome all your comments, and I hope to honor God by bringing a smile to all who encounter my cartoon work.  As the Body of Christ, we must remember that there is no "I" in Jesus, but there is an "us".    As John the Baptist said, "I must decrease, and He must increase."
